It's not quite perfect...once I was done I realized that I'd accidentally reversed two of the triangles in one of the squares, but you don't really notice that unless you're looking for it I don't think! There is also supposed to be a red circle in the very middle, but I haven't decided if I'm going to attempt that yet. My machine is being a bit wonky and I think I'll wait until after I have it serviced to do anything more to this block for fear I'll mangle it.

Thanks so much for your nice comment on my block! I had to come over and check yours out too! I like it! If you want to put the circle in the middle, you can stitch it on by hand instead of taking a chance with your machine. I'm not very good at hand appliqué, so if I have to, I'll do some kind of decorative stitch that becomes part of the design so I won't be disappointed in my bad appliqué technique! Even just a simple running stitch or blanket stitch would look nice.
